Our Famous Sweet RollsThe traditional morning glory of The Bake Shop is our unique, lightly spiced sweet rolls that have just the right amount of flakiness, buttery caramel, and a lemony glaze topped with sliced almonds.  Try this decadent treat with a cup of coffee.
Summer of '76 Special at The Bake ShopServed since the Summer of ’76  this breakfast special includes 3 sourdough pancakes, 1 egg and 1 slice of bacon.  Originally created to commemorate our countries Bicentennial, it now stands in its 38th year as The Bake Shop’s most beloved (and hearty) meal.
Eggs any way you like at The Bake ShopWe serve eggs straight up (fried, scrambled or boiled) with a side of toast. If you are looking for a little excitement with your eggs, get them scrambled with Mushrooms, Spinach, and Grilled Tomatoes or try them with Green Onions and Parsley for a fresh garden taste.
Vegetarian Breakfast options at The Bake ShopOne of the biggest changes to happen over the past 17 years was an introduction of several breakfast vegetarian options including our beloved Vegetable Omelet loaded with delicious bites of zucchini, spinach, and mushrooms topped with grated Kasseri cheese and served with a side of toast.
French Toast at The Bake ShopEnjoy two thick slices of whole wheat bread that soak in orange and cinnamon scented custard and are grilled to perfection. It is served with one egg and a slice of savory bacon.
Alyeska Sourdough PancakesLet your warm, delicate sourdough pancakes be elevated with our pure maple syrup imported from a small family farm in Michigan or pair them with one of our house made jams.  Whatever you do, eat them up quickly, because you won’t want to share. Add a side of thick cut bacon and let your friends be jealous.
House made Jams at The Bake ShopAll of our jams are slow-cooked in The Bake Shop capturing the best flavors of the fruit we make them from.
  • Orange Marmalade that will remind you of warm, sun kissed afternoons.
  • Strawberry Rhubarb Jam whose sweetness and tartness will enlighten any taste buds.
  • Prune Jam that is sweet and savory all in one bite.
The prune jam in particular is the pride and joy of The Bake Shop as we get prunes shipped in once a year and hand process and pit them, cooking them down in a double boiler for hours to make the most delicate prune jam you’ll ever have. Spread these house-made jams over our hot-buttered toast or pancakes and you’ll see what we mean.
Buttered Toast made from the Alyeska Sourdough Bread at The Bake ShopOur toast, made with The Bake Shop sourdough bread, is good to the last bite.  The butter is perfectly melted with just the right of butter to toast ratio…just like your mom used to make.
House Made Granola at The Bake ShopStarting off, our Granola is baked with organic coconut oil, and includes a special blend of sesame seeds, almonds, sunflower and poppy seeds, oats, honey, maple syrup and is served with dried cranberries. WARNING: It is highly addictive, and even more so when it is enjoyed with whole milk or yogurt. The granola also makes for a great snack on the trail. Just ask for it to go.
Why have hot oatmeal on a menu? We get asked this question a lot.  On a cold Alaskan winter morning right before a day of skiing on the slopes, nothing is better than a warm bowl of steel cut oats served with milk, brown sugar and raisins.

Bottomless Soup at The Bake Shop An exceptional soup is built on a foundation of good ingredients, precise preparation, and time.  For all of our soups we build up our stocks from bones and root vegetables, allowing time and heat to extract the robust flavors of each to create a strong foundation for our soups.  Once our stocks are prepared we build our soups based on the freshest ingredients.  We feature one of our soups daily: Friday always features our famous clam chowder, Sunday’s is Beef Barley Vegetable. This sandwich features butter crisped toast, mayo, and the freshest tomatoes and lettuce with four slices of perfectly cooked bacon.  Every piece of bacon counts, and so do you.  Try the BLT with our house made milkshake.
Pizza with your choice of toppings at The Bake ShopOur lovely pizza crusts are hand tossed with light rye flour and covered in our famous red house sauce and three cheese blend and then baked to order with your choice of toppings. Choice of Pizza Toppings:
  • Meat: Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Italian Sausage
  • Veggies: Spinach, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Pineapple, Green onions, White Onions, Zucchini, Bell Peppers, and Black Olives
Fresh Salads at The Bake ShopGarden fresh vegetables, such as greens, mushrooms, green onions, parsley, zucchini, tomatoes, are tossed in a homemade sour crème dill dressing, and topped with Kasseri Cheese. You also have the option to add some sliced Ham or Turkey to your salad plate.
