Summer at The Bake
Shop is spectacular! Every year with the help of many "green
thumbs" and the expert knowledge of Werner Egloff and Jonnie
Lazarus, The Bake Shop puts up a fabulous summer flower
display. Hanging baskets and flower pots are filled with the
most dazzling species of Begonias, Lobelias, Impatiens and
many old time favorites. The front of The Bake Shop is
transformed into a Summer Garden Dining Area - a perfect
spot to enjoy your breakfast or lunch.
Winter
Winter turns The
Bake Shop into a warm and cozy locale, where you can warm up
with a bowl of steaming, homemade soup after skiing or
playing in the snow. Since we are located at the base of the
Alyeska Ski area, many patrons ski right up to
our door.
It is also here that you
meet local Girdwood residents, welcoming you to "their"
restaurant.
