We feel very fortunate to live and work in the beautiful Girdwood Valley, our home. Michael, who is working at the Bake Shop everyday, is a trained chef and has worked for over 10 years as Executive Chef for many world-class resorts and hotels. It was always our dream to someday own and operate our very own restaurant. Not only did this dream come true, but it happened to be right here in the most beautiful part of the world. We count our blessings!

Stefanie is a stay-at-home mom who tries to keep up with her business bookkeeping chores during Annika's nap-time. Annika is a happy toddler who loves to 'work' at The Bake Shop - Soon she'll be taking your orders!

How to Find Us
Driving on the Seward Highway, 40 miles south of Anchorage, turn off onto Alyeska Highway. (Notice our blue directional highway sign on the Seward Hwy.) Follow Alyeska Hwy. for about 3 miles, until you come to the "T" at Alyeska Resort, where you are greeted by a large wooden sign. Turn left onto Arlberg and take the first right onto Olympic Circle. (Notice our blue directional sign on the big tree at the corner.)
Don't be confused by a sign for another bakery and coffee shop at the bottom of the road! Continue to drive to the very top of the gravel road, use the parking lot to your right and walk up to the front of the building where you will find The Bake Shop and the boardwalk.
